Look who's come to town

The other day, Oilman (Paul) and his wife (Vanessa) and daughter (Chloe) came over here for a holiday from Australia.  Last night was a bbq over at the Backer's abode, and today a surf at RJ's. Fun was had at both places.
Thank you to Tommy and Jen Backer who put together a delicious spread of carne asada tacos.

Vanessa's photo is the only one missing...
I'll get her next time.

The evening was made complete with a
wonderful fire in the Backer's firepit.
And yes, I still have all my hair.  :))  No SINGE tonight.

JT and I feel very fortunate to be surrounded by such wonderful friends, from here and from afar.
Thank you to all who chose to share their lives with us.

Razor's BBQ

Last night, only one week after Razor's freakish accident, a few of us gathered at his house for an evening full of laughter, delicious food, and of course the Spainard and his antics.

He's still the same, handsome lookin man.

Joe, Big Fred and the Spanaird enjoying their beer.

Big Fred is a member of the MBA... Master Barbequer's Association.
Let me just say, his ribs are killer!
Just a side note... this was a partial Putz b-day celebration... he didn't want anyone to know.  I guess it's too late now.  Happy B-day, Putzy!

Greg, Carmen and her son arrive with more delicious food.
The enchiladas were beyond tastey.

Tom Backer enjoying the festivites.  He's eager to get back in the water.  Won't be too long now.

Jennifer, Tom's wife.

Carlen, Big Fred's wife can't belive Mike right now.

And then, it takes a turn for the funny... notice the purple gloves.
The Spainard wore these all night long.

And then, Putz decides to check out Razor's, well, you know.

And here's the food spread...everything from JT's guacamole, Big Fred's ribs,  to Carlen's delicious scalloped potatoes, to Carmen's enchiladas, spanish rice, salad, and bread.  I'm still full!

We are all so very grateful Razor, Backer, Kenny, and all those kneelos around the world, who have had injuries, are on the mend and will be in the lineup with us soon.
